Salary Range: $22.

00 1st Shift Role and Responsibilities: Conduct thorough inspections and quality checks on CNC machined components using precision measurement tools, ensuring compliance with engineering specifications and customer requirements.
Perform dimensional, visual, and functional inspections at different stages of the manufacturing process to identify defects, deviations, or non-conformities.
Collaborate with production teams to resolve quality issues, providing technical guidance and implementing corrective actions.
Maintain accurate documentation and records of inspection results, non-conformances, and quality metrics.
Participate in root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance overall product quality and manufacturing processes.
Support the implementation and maintenance of quality management systems, including adherence to ISO9001 standards.
Conduct calibration and maintenance activities for inspection equipment, ensuring the accuracy and reliability of measurements.
Assist in the development and review of inspection procedures, work instructions, and quality control plans.
Aid in internal audits to ensure that we are not deviating from our standard operating procedures.
Aid in creating inspection sheets, compiling information, and verifying accuracy for PPAP submittals.
Qualifications and Education Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical certifications in quality assurance or related fields are preferred.
Proven experience as a Quality Technician in a CNC manufacturing environment, with expertise in precision measurement tools and inspection techniques.
Strong knowledge of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) principles, blueprint reading, and engineering drawings interpretation.
Proficiency in using inspection equipment such as micrometers, calipers, height gauges, CMMs, and optical comparators.
Familiarity with statistical process control (SPC) methodologies and statistical analysis tools.
Solid understanding of quality management systems and relevant industry standards (ISO, AS9100, etc.
).
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to identify and resolve quality issues.
Effective communication and teamwork abilities to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Detail-oriented mindset, ensuring accuracy and precision in all quality-related activities.
Adherence to safety protocols and commitment to maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
Preferred Skills: GD&T Certification.
Proficient with Microsoft Excel.
Bilingual (English / Spanish).
