The Child Care Worker implements the Crisis Nursery program to ensure the safety, wellbeing, basic needs and general care of children ages birth thru six years attending the Crisis Nursery programming.
The Child Care Worker for the Crisis Nursery also works closely with the parents of the children to assess immediate family needs, make referrals for services and identify community resources that may reduce stressors impacting their ability to care for their child(ren).
Candidate qualifications:
A High School Diploma or GED (required).
You are 21 years of age or older.
One year of experience working with children, preferably birth to seven years required.
An Associate's Degree, Child Development Accreditation Certificate, or coursework in child development, early childhood education, or childcare preferred.
Are able to secure and maintain a valid CPR and First Aid certification.
Valid driver's license, insurance, and a reliable vehicle required.
Job details:
Compensation: Range starts at $15.
80/hour, offers are commensurate with experience.
Location: Mother House Crisis Nursery - 424 7th St, Rockford, IL 61104
Schedule: Saturday and Sunday 3pm-11pm or every other weekend 3pm-11pm.
