Position Summary:
Responsible and accountable for accounting functions with the Accounting group, including Financial and Commercial accounting functions, pricing, financial reporting, valuations and analyses for the Company.
Develops and implements the strategies and supporting processes needed to adequately evaluate the results and profitability of the Company’s business, develops and implements processes used to support analysis of sales and ensure accuracy in external financial reporting.
Responsible for developing cost estimates for new products and projects and subsequently analyzing actual results versus the estimates.
Essential Duties and Requirements include the following.

Manage the pricing / costing processes of TH Foods that determines the profitability at the SKU and Sales Segment level.
Forecasting, Budgeting and Monthly Reporting support to sales team.
Understand market trends, dynamics, price/volume trends and outlooks in order to recommend actions that lead to profitable growth.
Participate in cross functional teams to ensure margin optimization through proper management of deductions, price variances, and successful resolution of claims.
On-going margin analysis, root cause categorization, opportunity identification and implementation of corrective actions to optimize margin and mitigate risk.
Collaborate with key stakeholders to establish KPIs and to provide variance analysis.
Responsible for submitting accurate documents in accordance with established deadlines.
Contribute ideas and provide workable solutions as challenges or problems arise.
Execute special projects, as deemed necessary.
Support the Company in preparation of annual budgets and financial forecasts to include the preparation of supporting documents for management review.
Manage the analysis of financial information used to evaluate current financial performance.
Responsible for ensuring that expenses are properly recorded and allocated according to established procedures.
Ensures the financial integrity of reported information.
Maintains complete financial records for the Company.
Support the monthly close process including the preparation and review of monthly, quarterly and annual journal entries, financial statements, and internal reports, including the monthly reporting package.
Manages the consolidated closing process.
Develops recommendations to change systems, policies and procedures; ensures timely and accurate implementation.
Oversees and handles projects that have short to long term focus.
Provides leadership, mentoring and coaching to assigned staff that assures attraction, development and retention of a highly skilled and motivated team.
Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Responsible for promoting food safety and employee safety throughout the organization.
Supervisory Responsibilities This position will be responsible for supervising one Staff Accountant.

Language Skills Ability to read, verify and confirm all financial data in English.
Mathematical Skills Excellent Mathematical Skills required.
Reasoning Ability Ability to understand and compile complex financial information and analyze it for reasonableness Ability use analysis and information to format and create reports for management to use when making decisions.
